i just got a job at speakeasy, on their help desk. employment at last! thanks to everyone who cheered me on, encouraging me not to lose hope.
so the summer vacation is over… but now we won’t run out of food. i’ll take that.

morbid thought for the day: what happens to the blogs of people who die? or any sort of online presence not dependent on a bill being paid to keep it running, for that matter (there’s likely a webpage/forum or two hundred dedicated to this very subject, but for now i’ll be lazy and indulge [...]

fall is coming, slowly, inexorably. today’s foreshadowing: a blind grey sky has replaced the intermittent blue, and cold wet falls in fits and starts. perfect weather for plants, waterfowl, melancholy. i am undaunted, inspired to slow pleasure, daydreaming a moody embrace of the sweet rains and long walks to come.
