new (old) pics up on the flickr.

this is happy, tired me – happy because we just hung out with andreas and ariel, some madcool new friends of ours! we went to teapot and then did the chatty at the apartment. be sure to check out ariel’s photostream; her voracious flickring has encouraged me to increase my own. more hangings with a+a soon me hopes!

as for the tired part: first week of training. body not so happy with early rise. however, it is but a piestroll compared to the schedule to come in october – 5am to 1pm. gah

i just got a job at speakeasy, on their help desk. employment at last! thanks to everyone who cheered me on, encouraging me not to lose hope.

so the summer vacation is over… but now we won’t run out of food. i’ll take that.

morbid thought for the day: what happens to the blogs of people who die? or any sort of online presence not dependent on a bill being paid to keep it running, for that matter (there’s likely a webpage/forum or two hundred dedicated to this very subject, but for now i’ll be lazy and indulge in idle speculation). will there be any longterm effort to cull the web of truly ‘dead’ sites? or instead, will the livejournals of the deceased be configured with some sort of automatic epitaph (i’m envisioning the ‘six feet under’ whitescreen), to let visitors know not to expect any further updates?

more likely than either scenerio, they’ll probably all just sit there, collecting random but futile hits, forever. or at least until the crash of 2029, which will wipe the internet clean, forcing us to start amassing porn again from scratch.
