chris took this picture of us during his and renee’s visit to our corner of the country; the two of them had spent the weekend hiking in olympic national park. good times! she’s so nice, and it’s always good to see chris again. it was so great to have them; i only wish we could have had more time together - and there’s so much else to do and see here that i wish i could have shown them. they had an excellent time in the mountains, though - they went to rialto beach as well, which joriel and i visited a few weeks ago.

we had dinner at teapot and tried to get mike out with us, but he had some awful flu thing. on his birthday weekend, no less! oh well - chris left a nice gift for him; it’s a photo album of their trip to seattle 10 years before, moving mike here. i fear i embarassed chris quite a lot, showing everybody some pictures i took of him in 1989. but they’re so cool; they’re such a time capsule. i’m hardly ever bashful about old pictures of myself anymore - i’m not sure when that changed, but it’s been awhile.
