joriel is in sanfrancisco this weekend at APE; i’m trying to use the resulting quiet time somewhat efficiently by working on projects and such, rather than just getting stoned and surfing the net. not to say there won’t be a bit of that too, but i’ll at least wait until nightfall after i’ve worn myself out… on the computer. hmm. in the meantime, enjoy yet another batch o’ photos: nashville 2002

this is a ‘lost and found’ set (lost sometime after i mailed it to andy a few years ago because i’d never gotten around to printing any of the pictures, found recently by him in a box of other photos and mailed back to me, in seattle); i scanned the negatives in yesterday, and flickred them today for your viewing pleasure.

just got off the phone with andy a few minutes ago, that rascal. he’s got a tonna old photos as well that i’m hoping he’ll share in some fashion at points future; he’s such a talented photographer, and i’ve learned quite a lot from him over the years.

i was listening to a mess of our old weird blues songs the other night, and mused aloud on how lucky i was to have shared in such deep magic. not to say WB is done; on the contrary, we’ve continued to record here and again, with happy results. one of the aforementioned projects is to get our music out on the web for others to sample, though i want to do it artfully rather than just dumping songs out here. still piecing together those plans; stay tuned.

ah, the indescribable pleasure of clever machines, cool toys. now that i’ve gotten everything copied over from oldandbustedPC to newhotnessMAC, there’s new pics from the most recent trip to virginia, and other stuff, if you care to look-see.

also, new-ish schedule: 9am-6pm M-F PST – which means east coasters will need to call me after 9pm EST to catch me after work; i usually go to bed at around 11:30pm PST, or 2:30am EST. weekends are always an option, though – you can call anytime from 9pm EST Friday to 2:30am EST Monday without fear of reprisal.

hopefully i’ll be posting more again now that the computer issue has been settled, which i know comes as a huge relief to the three of you who read this blog. ok, maybe only to two of you.
